The COVID-19 pandemic in Romania is part of the ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The virus was confirmed to have reached Romania on 26 February 2020, when the first case in Gorj County was confirmed.

As of 20 December 2020, the National Institute of Public Health has reported 591,294 cases, 498,777 recoveries, and 14,394 COVID-19-related deaths. In the specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 11,360. Of these, 1,267 were admitted to ICUs. Also, more than 4.5 million tests have been processed.
